There is not only information on diction and IPA but also grammatical structure and how all this information can be used when approaching a new text. German Language “Access to German: Jägerbuch Band I” If you are completely new to German language you may want to use this book. It teaches grammar, conversation, and culture by following the adventures of Rudy Zögelmann, a fictitious college student. If you are more advanced you many to try book 2 or 3. This book may be found at the CUNY Hunter College Bookstore or may be available used online.

Deutsche-Welle- www.dw-world.de DW is not only a news source but an excellent resource for learning German. They provide help with grammar, vocabulary and conversation, as well as audio and video podcasts.
