“Access to German: Jägerbuch Band I”
by K. Eckhard Kuhn-Osius

If you are completely new to German language you may want to use this book.  It teaches grammar, conversation, and culture by following the adventures of Rudy Zögelmann, a fictitious college student.  If you are more advanced you many to try book 2 or 3.
